Windows 7…Starter? | April 16, 2009

Well… I’ll admit that I use Mac OS X, but I really don’t myself to seem to be an Apple fanboy, because I am so not! Anyway, I’m going to talk about Microsoft’s new version of Windows called “7″… wtf with the name?

More to the point, Starter is going to use the 32-bit processing like Home Basic does in Vista. However, because the bastard is a memory hog that you’ll need 4 GBs of RAM so it runs properly, you’ll be limited to running three apps at once… The heck? Honestly, when I boot my Windows machine, I open MSN, Firefox and my mail app… Thats my limit already. So are you saying to run a virus scan, I’ll have to close one of these. What the hell were Microsoft thinking? They have now lost their minds of  what people use on Computers and even people who don’t use PC’s that often will find this stupid.

Also, Home Basic won’t reach the UK or the US so we have to pay our debts to Microsoft for Home Premium or stick with Starter. Frankly, Microsoft can piss off if they think this is a good idea.

Idiots.
